Pete and I began our Bolts to Blocks journey in downtown Albany, Oregon in 2014. We began growing our business in a small store front on the corner of 2nd and Broadalbin. During our time in this location we grew our inventory, started classes, and began offering long arm services. The best part of these first few years are the customers we met that quickly became friends and who continue to support us today.

In 2017 we moved our business to Periwinkle Plaza where we remained through 2020, when Pete and I found ourselves with an ever changing family. Our oldest daughter had been married, the next daughter was finishing her last year of college, our son was headed to the Air Force, and our youngest was finishing up her last two years of high school. One morning we woke up and realized we now had more time for us so it felt like the right time to change the face of our business.

After many hours of discussion we found ourselves building a studio in our backyard that would house our ever growing long arm business and expanding our Etsy store.
